Going forward, Jiankun will be unveiling one of its projects which is Amani Residences, 377 units of serviced apartment located in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. The group will continue to selectively seek for joint ventures arrangements, land acquisition and project delivery management, delivering quality projects which caters to the current market conditions and needs.

As part of its continued efforts to widen its footprint in the property development landscape, Jiankun has undertaken several strategic measures to expand its landbank for future developments.

The strategic landbanking measures include the diversification into land reclamation business, following the acquisition of interest in Embon Global Venture Sdn Bhd in March 2021. The company was acquired by Nagamas Bizworks Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiankun, for RM5.7 million. With a complete control in Embon Global, Jiankun gets an immediate access to reclamation concession rights for an area spanning 30 acres in Melaka. The reclamation works are expected to commence in July 2021 and complete by June 2022.

In March 2021, Jiankun had also entered into a conditional share sale and purchase agreement with Limpah Restu Development Sdn Bhd (“LRDSB”) for RM10 million. The state of Perak will be alienating approximately 16-acre leasehold land to LRDSB by second quarter, and this piece of land is suitable for the business of Private Cemetery, Crematorium and Columbarium.
